Daksh Gupta IMI VP & Chair of Nominations Committee drives search for next IMI CEO

As IMI Vice President and Chair of the Nominations Committee, Daksh Gupta is leading the Nominations Committee in its search for the next CEO of the automotive sector’s leading Awarding Organisation and Professional Body.
The Committee, comprising Linda Jackson, CEO at Peugeot and Board members, Mark Crandon, General Manager, Technical & Customer Service BMW Group and Arran Simms, Chief Engineer Data, Fleet and Business Opportunities, JLR have already recommended the appointment of a ‘dream team’ of 11 new Non-Executive Directors to the Board, to be announced in the coming weeks. The Nominations Committee is looking for someone for the IMI CEO role that has a real passion for people and skills in automotive.
“The automotive sector is experiencing the most profound transformation,” said Daksh Gupta. “That’s why we are creating a board that has hands-on experience both within and outside the sector, energised to support the needs of the people and businesses that make our industry tick.
